Dear UNAA members and friends of Uganda:
WELCOME TO THE 20TH ANNUAL UNAA CONVENTION IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA
On behalf of the UNAA Board, I welcome you to our 20th Annual UNAA Convention in Orlando, Florida. The UNAA Board together with the Orlando convention chairman, Mr. Alexander Zabasajja and his Vice Mr. James Kabonge, have put together a wonderful team to guarantee a successful Convention (Friday, August 29th Thru Sep 01, 2008).
This year’s convention is primarily intended to bring UNAA back to its original goals of tackling issues that are dear to our members’ needs. Within this context, we are giving top priority to job opportunities, Education and immigration issues. As per our tradition, matters of raising a family in America will also be a major discussion during this year’s convention. I can confidently say that we will be celebrating 20 years of UNAA in an unprecedented impact and style.
Among the many career opportunities organized for this year’s convention is the opportunity to serve in the United States military for those who qualify. For the first time in UNAA’s history we are working with the professional military recruiters who will be at hand to showcase opportunities within the US military. UNAA members can choose to pursue careers as doctors, physician assistants, nurses, lawyers, priests, sheiks, engineers and many more. You will be serving with the leading military organization in the world while pursuing your lifelong career and professional goals. Bring your updated resumes and transcripts for onsite evaluations.
Religious affairs will also be integrated into this year’s program. Plans for the “Kimeeza” are underway to ensure that you all express your views on current issues taking place in our homeland Uganda. The entertainment team is working hard to provide you with the best that UNAA can offer.
Please take advantage of the early discount to register for the convention.
I like to thank many community members and friends of Uganda who have contributed and sacrificed in many ways to ensure that the convention will be successful. I am also indebted to all the committee chairpersons and their respective members who have done likewise. As the President of UNAA, I would like to reiterate that you have my confidence.
I am proud to be your chosen leader for this progressive organization at this time in its history.
Sincerely,
Lt. Frank Musisi
President
