At this year’s convention we are going to feature something new and different. We shall be offering you two concerts. The first one will be on Saturday and the second one on Sunday. The descriptions are featured below:

Saturday Night Extravaganza:

Under the Stars with Afrigo:
Saturday August 30th, 7pm to 10pm

Concert featuring some of the best Ugandan artists in Betty Mpologoma, Kaddo MCs, Trophy C, Chagga, Haruna Mubiru, Nassolo and the most famous artists that Uganda has produced, The Afrigo Band! The show will be at the beautiful Marriott Hotel. Come dressed to impress, with comfortable dancing shoes and a good mood and this will certainly be a night to remember. After the concert, we shall move on to dance to the best music that DC’s own DJ Mondy has to offer! The youth will proceed to dance to tunes spun by Uganda’s Best and award winning DJ, DJ Shiru at the party that is themed the Black, Yellow or Red Affair. Make sure to wear your best Black, Yellow or Red attire!

Blast Off ’08:

Sunday August 31st, 10:30pm to 1:30am

Youthful concert featuring some of today’s best young artists in Uganda! The concert will feature Ngoni, Peter Miles, Navio, Krukid, Batabazi, Atomic and DJ Shiru. Come ready to get down to tunes like Diggi, Bigula, Onzita, One Time, Muwala and many more! This concert is open to everyone! After the concert, DJ Humphrey will be entertaining us at the UNAA Farewell Party and Next Level DJs will be entertaining the youth at the Blast Off After Party.

SPORTS

Come with your golfing shoes and a little bit of Tiger Woods in you, well not quite, but certainly come and enjoy some golf at one of the best golf ranges around! When else to enjoy this in the early Florida Sun. For those interested this will be on Sunday morning from 7am to 9am.

or the young people at heart (youth) we will be having basketball, volleyball and beach soccer! This will be on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. Basketball and beach soccer will be tournament style!
