In the fall of 2006 a Facebook book group was opened to solicit ideas from Ugandan Youth to try and incorporate some of their ideas and more into the 2007 San Francisco convention. At its peak, the group consisted of 150 members around the world. At the San Francisco convention we started at baby steps but left knowing we still had a mighty long way to go!

In the past, the youth have felt “left out” of the masses at the Convention. This year we are very DETERMINED to change that trend. We have listened and are still listening and have to say that 2008 Orlando is going to be positively different! If you have access to the internet please visit the Facebook group that has been set up once again “2008 Orlando Convention”. It will be here that we will keep updating you on a frequent basis.

Ugandan Youth at the convention consist of the age group 11 to 26 year olds. This group is the future of UNAA. These youth are not only from North America but from around the world. In Orlando this year, we will have plenty of fun and enriching activities for the youth.  Come with an open mind and some comfortable shoes, it is going to be a wonderful ride and hopefully you will all walk away with an unforgettable positive experience!
